A coastal inspired garden designed to sit in harmony with the indigenous surrounds.
To make the most of the outdoor environment, the clients wanted to create outdoor areas within the indigenous landscape, which surrounded and hugged the residence. Landscape designed spaces included a bocci court, an extended pool deck and new pavilion, a teenage space with trampoline, pavilion and pod hammocks, a parent’s retreat, pergola, vineyard and vegetable patch and a formal garden.
Monash University Courtyard, Victoria
Creating an outdoor environment for the staff and clients of the Legal services department.
The outdoor space is designed to connect and draw people into the space while enhancing the newly built building. The landscape is designed around the established Eucalyptus tree which is the focal point. Built on several levels the design provides areas for recreation, socialising and relaxation. The plant species selected enhance the architecture and area while providing a sustainable, low maintenance character.
Dementia therapy garden, Baptcare Whynham, Werribee
This therapy garden is designed for the dementia patients, to ignite the senses and provide therapy, activities and a sense of wellbeing.
The design elements included are sustainability, orientation, accessibility, socialisation, meaningful activity, reminiscence, sensory stimulation and safety.
